Benefits of Membership
The Society invites anyone who is interested in pursuing their family history to become a member, regardless of experience or area of research. All, from beginner to expert, are welcome.
Annual Membership dues are:
Individual : $15.00
Family*: $15.00
*A family membership is for two people living in the same residence at the same address.
Membership benefits include our newsletter and the option to reserve time on the computers in our library in advance and get priority access over non-members even if they do not reserve in advance. We also send E-mail reminders of upcoming meetings to our members.
Our membership year runs from April through March. Those joining during the last three months of the membership year will receive the balance of the membership year for free and their dues will be credited to the following year. Example: Someone joining and paying their dues in January of 2020 would be considered paid through March 2021.
Our meetings are usually held on the second Saturday of the month in the main Palm Beach County Library. Check "Calendar/Events" for exact information. Our meetings are free and open to all. Meetings typically open with a brief business meeting that is followed by a presentation on a genealogy related topic.
